Misdemeanors

A misdemeanor is a crime that is less serious than a felony and is usually punishable by a fine or penalty. Some examples of misdemeanors are simple battery, small amount of marijuana, public intoxication, soliciting prostitution, etc. Our office will minimize or eliminate the possibility of jail time which would allow you to be on probation or enter a particular program. Many times if you are eligible for a program and you successfully complete the program then the charges against you will be dropped
